Partners and Funders

Causeway is supported by a number of funders including Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities; Ministry of Community & Social Services; Human Resources & Skills Development Canada; Ministry of Health & Long-term Care; United Way Ottawa, Community Foundation of Ottawa; Ontario Trillium Foundation; Industry Canada; and a select group of corporate and individual donors including Adobe Corporation and Bank of America.

The Causeway Foundation has been established to provide financial support and awareness to Causeway Work Centre and is supported by individual donors and fundraising activities.

Causeway also works in partnership with a multitude of community organizations in the health and social services areas throughout the province. The majority of our partnerships are designed to advance pre-employment and employment opportunities for hard-to-employ or disadvantaged workers. For example:

  • Street Kids International and Causeway are developing a project twinning social enterprise for youth living in New Delhi, India, with social enterprise for youth living in Ottawa
  • Causeway and Social & Enterprise Development Innovations are partnering to increase the availability of financial literacy training in Ottawa
  • Causeway and Vanier Community Service Centre are partners in the operation of the Ottawa Social Purchasing Portal
