Causeway Work Centre is a non-profit agency that has been assisting people with chronic mental illness and other disabilities for more than 25 years. The Work Centre is guided by a volunteer Board of Directors that consists of 12 members - two ex-officio and 10 full directors. The Causeway Board is a policy governance board, which takes responsibility for:

• Enacting and monitoring a Strategic Plan for the Work Centre
• Developing policies to guide budget preparation and administration
• Reviewing budget preparation, approving the annual budget and operating plan
• Providing support and direction for the Executive Directors
• Developing and maintaining an advocacy relationship with the community
