WELCOMING OWEN FREIHEIT, CAUSEWAY’S NEW INTERIM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

“I’m honoured to step into the role of Interim Executive Director at Causeway. For the last decade, my work has been rooted in the social service sector and business community, working to find ways to integrate one another in a sustainable way. This includes supporting individuals navigating the justice system and precarious or unstable housing situations, supporting those with their mental health, and working with folks facing barriers to employment. Over the past year and a half at Causeway, first as Director of Social Enterprise and then as Director of Operations, I’ve had the privilege of contributing to our programs and services that create meaningful employment opportunities and foster inclusion.

I’m excited to take on this new challenge and work with our teams and partners to advance our mission. I’d like to thank all of our amazing staff and dedicated board of directors for their continued support in navigating this transition, and I look forward to building on Causeway’s long legacy of empowering people and strengthening communities.
