Snowmania Snowman Building Challenge – February 16, 2018
A big thank you to all who helped out Team Causeway at this year’s Alterna Savings Crackup snow-man building challenge! This year, inspired by the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, we made snow bears in support mental health initiatives in the community. Just as in the fairytale, Causeway ensures that people find the resources they need that are “just right” for them to succeed. A special thanks to Giant Tiger for their generous donation of hats and scarves that our snowbears happily modeled!
Harvest Social – October 17, 2017
Held at the Orange Art Gallery, the Harvest social celebrated the donors, supporters, and community partners of Causeway, and recognized the achievements of our clients and volunteers.

As the days grow shorter, self-care and celebrating successes become ever more important in maintaining mental health. Supporters of Causeway came together for the Autumn Renewal Gala, for a night of client & community partner awards, appetizers & beverages, silent auction & door prizes, and mingling.

The Unmasking Mental Illness fundraiser was a great success–we owe a huge thank you to all who came to the Orange Art Gallery on October 27th to attend! We had a great time recognizing clients, employers, and volunteers, eating delicious food, and mingling. Congratulations to all the award winners! Thanks to your generous donations, we raised $7,500, all of which will go directly to support Causeway’s programs.
This year’s Run/Walk for Mental Health at Britannia Beach was a huge success! The weather was kind to us all day, and so were all of the runners who drank our coffee in the morning and bid on our silent auction items in the afternoon. We raised over $3,500 and spread the word about Causeway to hundreds of fresh faces.
