A message from Causeway Work Centre Board President, Louise Boudreau

On behalf of the Board, I would like to announce the departure of Hailey Hechtman as Executive Director of Causeway Work Centre, effective June 30, 2023.

I would like to thank Hailey for her leadership and service to Causeway. During her tenure, Hailey introduced and drove the implementation of the organization’s new strategic plan, stewarded the organization through the global pandemic, and was a proud advocate for people in our community experiencing barriers to employment. The Causeway Board wish Hailey the very best for the future.

Causeway has a long history in the Ottawa community, providing avenues to employment for people with mental illnesses and other challenges. As we move into this next chapter, we remain committed to our mission of building better communities by employing each person’s abilities.

We will be undertaking the process to recruit Causeway’s next Executive Director over the coming months.
