WELCOMING ALISON NEWSON, CAUSEWAY’S NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Dear Causeway Community,
It is with great pleasure that we announce the appointment of Causeway’s new Executive Director, Alison Newson.
Alison comes to Causeway from the John Howard Society of Ottawa (JHSO), where she was the Department Director for both Child & Youth Services and Employment & Training Services. She also worked on a number of other programs at JHSO, including the creation of a Front Line Services Human Trafficking Committee, Making the Shift, A Way Home Ottawa, and the Ottawa Coalition to End Human Trafficking. Prior to her time with the John Howard Society, Alison was involved with Victim Services of Ottawa. She is currently a part-time teacher at Algonquin College in the social services department.
