    Job Description: Kitchen Supervisor – Krackers Katering

    About the Role
    We are currently looking for a full-time (3-month contract) Krackers Katering Kitchen Supervisor. This position will be responsible for supervising Krackers Katering staff at the direction of the Operations Manager.
    Duties & Responsibilities
    • Plan, organize and direct daily kitchen duties as outlined by the Operations Manager.
    • Ensure catering and service orders are prepared and delivered as per the details of each contract.
    • Train and support Krackers Katering staff
    • Contribute to the expansion and development of catering and service menus, emphasizing modern, healthy and delicious food, including vegetarian and vegan options, with special attention made to nutritional and dietary restrictions such as gluten-free and dairy-free
    • Complete administrative duties as assigned
    • Working with vulnerable client-populations including those struggling with mental health, disability, and other barriers to employment
    • Social media marketing at the direction of the Operations Manager

    Job Description: Groundskeeping Maintenance Supervisor (Seasonal)

    Good Nature Groundskeeping (GNG) is social enterprise that provides commercial and residential grounds maintenance and care through our professional groundskeeping business across the National Capital Region.

    We are currently looking for a Groundskeeping Supervisor who is committed to working from April – November. The Groundskeeping Supervisor will lead a crew of 3-4 people on a daily basis, providing spring and fall clean-ups, grass cutting and litter control services for a wide range of properties.

    The Recreation Service Provider will develop sustainable relationships with clients living under CHO, liaise with support workers and home providers in a productive and effective manner, meet the projected program targets and outcomes set out by Management or the funder, research and deliver events and activities in the community that will benefit all clients involved.

    Job Description: Community Outreach & Program Support Worker

    The Community Outreach & Program Support role is designed to help individuals living in poverty, experiencing mental health challenges and other barriers, navigate and access community services and supports to ensure they have equitable and inclusive access to essential services, enhance their participation in society and improve their lived experiences. This position will also work with potential clients that are seeking services from Causeway and partner with other like- minded community organizations to generate referrals to the agency. The incumbent will also be responsible for providing support to Causeway’s intake and employment programs on an intermittent basis.

  • Senior Bookkeeper

    Job Description: Senior Bookkeeper

    Reporting to the Director of Finance and Administration, the Senior Bookkeeper plays a vital role in the financial management of Causeway. This position is a member of the Administration Team reporting to the Director of Finance & Administration. The Senior Bookkeeper provides assistance and support to the Director of Finance & Administration, Executive Director and to programs and services in matters related to finance and administration as required. Primary areas of responsibility include: bookkeeping to trial balance, including accounts payable, account reconciliation, account analysis and other finance functions as required, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting to support the organization’s mission and goals. The Senior Bookkeeper will work with the Director of Finance & Administration to optimize financial performance and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
